Landing page automatically lands to Home page once action on Landing page ends

Hi creating a code to have some text typewrited in my landing page.End of code needs to prompt the page that once the text typed ends, the Home page should appear. When I add a code in the Landing Page is not working.When I create a code in an additional element (frame) in the page it does but it lands in the home page inside the frame.

In the end of code I add the URL of the page that I want the next page to be but still no luck.

Any proposals?

Thanks for sharing the link and the screenshot.

First of all - Velo page code does not support HTML. Basically only the code that is between the two script tags is valid Velo code. That is why all of your code is underlined in red. See this console error:

Nonetheless it does seem that the code is at least partially running as the type affect is working. I also don't see a fundamental issue with how you are doing the redirect. It's worth noting that:

There is a newer package wixLocationFrontend.
When redirecting to pages on your site you don't need the full url just the slug - "/page-slug" vs "https://mywixdomain.com/page-slug";

As to why the redirect isn't happening - my best guess is that it is related to the logic of when the redirect function is run. I would put a console log in the if statement to confirm.

EDIT: it also seems like the page that you are trying to redirect to doesn't exist -
