Customize Cart Page

Hi,

I am trying to set up shipping so a customer can select shipping and then have it say that a quote will be emailed to you without having to show a price right away. We ship products of various sizes and have no way of getting a price on the spot.

There are several approaches you can explore for this:

Shipping fees SPI.
Full or partial customization of the cart page while setting shipping to 0.

If you can provide more details about your project I might be able to provide better direction.

Thank you. I work where we are always sending a different item to a different location and have to ask our movers what they charge once we get an address. Our hope is to say pay for it and we will invoice you a shipping quote. After they receive the quote they have a right to approve or deny it. So we want it to say shipping then say quote will be emailed.

So the customer would pay for the order without the shipping and then recive another invoice at a later time?
